Michael Luster struck again for the Eagles. This time the senior took a deflected shot from Spence Jean Baptiste in the box and ripped the ball past the UT-Tyler goalkeeper with just 1:45 remaining to tie the match. In overtime, the Eagles totaled three shots, but couldn't connect. The Patriots took a 2-0 advantage, scoring in the 5th and 16th minutes. The Eagles responded with a goal in the 42nd minute when Lorfils Milord netted a shot in the box. Miguel Reyes received the assist. From there, the Eagles shut out the Patriots and then Luster provided his athletic goal to send the match into overtime. Logan Valestin recorded several outstanding saves and totaled eight. The Patriots had 12 shots, while the Eagles had nine. The Patriots had seven corner kicks to three for the Eagles.

EAGLES' NEXT MATCH
The Eagles will finish the regular season hosting Belhaven University October 25 and Louisiana College October 27. The match against Louisiana College will be Senior Day and Homecoming.
