Overview: Central Baptist College jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning and then had to hold off the Eagles to claim a 10-8 win in game one Tuesday night. Trailing 9-2 after five, Sydney Key homered and Tori Rieber recorded an RBI in the top of the sixth to bring the Eagles within 9-4. The Mustangs tacked on a run in the bottom of the sixth, but the Eagles rallied in the final frame to make things interesting. In the top of the seventh, Brittney Dean had an RBI single and Key followed with a bases loaded hit by pitch to drive in another. Kieara Bryant drew a bases loaded walk and Reiber had an RBI from a groundout. With runners in scoring position, the Mustangs were finally able to make the final out to close out the game. Hailey Ostrander, Megan Madden and Dean each had two hits.

Overview: Central Baptist again started strong jumping out to a 3-0 lead after the first inning in a 6-2 game two win. But Key struck again as she blasted a two-run homer in the fourth to bring the score to 3-2. However, the Eagles were only able to collect a combined two hits in the fifth, sixth and seventh innnigs. Madden had a 2-for-3 performance at the plate.

Sydney Key homered in each of the games and now has a team-leading five.
The Eagles will host LeTourneau University April 19-20. Between Friday's games, the senior class will be honored as part of Senior Day.
