Second Half Comeback Falls Short For Women's Basketball Team

Carly Grace Dougan hit four three-pointers and scored 19 points against Concordia.

A second half rally came up short as the Eagles fell on the road 59-55 against Concordia University Texas Saturday. Concordia led 30-24 at halftime, but the Eagles made a big push in the third quarter scoring 19 points. Heading into the fourth, the Eagles led 43-41. Down the stretch, Concordia hit a pair of big shots from the field with less than three minutes remaining. The Eagles were outscored 8-2 in the final 2:45 of the game. The largest lead of the game for the Eagles (39-32) came at the 3:48 mark of the third quarter. Carly Grace Dougan hit four three-pointers to score 19 points.

Carly Grace Dougan hit four three-pointers and scored 19 points. It was her fourth game this season she has hit multiple three's in a game. Her previous high was three against Hendrix College December 19.
