LeTourneau University hit an impressive 14-of-15 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter to fuel a 71-58 come-from-behind conference win against the Eagles. The Eagles held a 48-45 advantage heading into the fourth quarter, but gave up 16 points in the final five minutes. Most of those points came from the free throw line. In the game, LeTourneau went to the free throw line 39 times, while the Eagles took 15 attempts. From the field, LeTourneau hit only 29 percent from the field. The Eagles made 41 percent of their shots from the floor. Kerigan Bradshaw led the Eagles with 12 points.
LeTourneau outscored the Eagles 26-10 in the fourth quarter. The YellowJackets hit a blistering 14-of-15 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter.
Guard Kerigan Bradshaw had 11 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in the loss. She tied her highest assist (7) output of the season.
The Eagles will travel to Marshall, Texas, to face East Texas Baptist University January 11.
