Despite generating 26 shots and 15 shots on frame, the Eagles were unable to find the back of the net in a 0-0 tie against Howard Payne University in conference play. The powerful Eagles' offense was on the attack all match. The Eagles had a trio of players with five shots – Skylar Brown, Falon Hanson, CJ Burns and Rebecca Peterson. All five of Peterson's shots were on frame. The Eagles' attack also included seven corner kicks. Additionally, the Eagles forced the Howard Payne goalkeeper make 15 saves. The first half swayed in Howard Payne's favor as they held the majority of the possession. The Eagles came out in the second half with determination and had several dangerous opportunities on goal as they held most of the possession. The first overtime went in the Eagles favor, forcing the keeper to make several key saves. In the second half, the Eagles held the Yellow Jackets and limited them to one shot on goal.
The Eagles generated 26 shots and 15 shots on frame, but couldn't find the back of the net in 110 minutes of play.
