The Women's Swim and Dive team won an academic award

CSCAA Honors Women's Swim And Dive Team

Clarksville, Ark. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced that the University of the Ozarks women's swimming and diving team have earned Scholar All-America honors for their efforts in the classroom during the 2023 fall semester. 

The women's team earned the honor after posting a 3.24 grade point average (GPA). The women's team has achieved the honor eight straight years.

"The dedication to academic excellence displayed by these teams is truly commendable," said Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA. "It is heartening to witness student-athletes thriving both in the pool and in their academic pursuits. The CSCAA is proud to recognize and celebrate the hard work and commitment of these teams."

In total, 183 NCAA III women's programs earned the honor following the 2023 semester. 

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
