East Moline, Illinois – Rewa Chababo and April Stanley had successful runs at the inaugural Quad Cities D3 Invite over the weekend in Illinois.
 
Chababo won her weight class with three straight dominating victories. On Friday, Chababo won by fall against Isabelle Huss from Augsburg. In the semi-finals, Chababo won by fall over Symphanie Sampson from Schreiner. In the finals, Chababo won by decision over Caroline Ward from North Central.

On Friday, Stanley had a win by injury default against Kara Rivard from Cornell. Stanley then won by fall over Jennifer Villagomez from Carthage. Both wins came after a loss against Brooke Schuenemann from Stevens Point. On Saturday, Stanley dropped both of her matches to finish eighth overall in her weight class. 

As a team, the Eagles placed 14^th overall. 

The Eagles will now prepare for SLIAC Championships held February 16.
