GAME ONE
Overview:
Clarksville, Ark. – Morgan Haupt and Jenna Lewis had a pitcher's duel with the War Hawks edging the Eagles 3-0 in game one on Friday. The pitching duo allowed just one hit through three innings. McMurry didn't collect a hit until the top of the fourth and that runner would eventually break a scoreless game. Leading 1-0, McMurry then added two runs in the top of the seventh on a two-run single. The Eagles got one runner on base in the bottom of the seventh with two outs, but Lewis ended the game with a strikeout. McMurry ended the game with four hits while the Eagles had two. Haupt fanned six in her outing while Lewis had nine strikeouts.

GAME TWO
Overview:
In game two, McMurry turned a close contest into a 10-2 win. McMurry plated a run in the first inning, but didn't score again until the fifth. The Eagles would score twice in the bottom of the fifth behind Mack Lucio and Allison Cowart RBI. However, McMurry still led 6-2 after five. The War Hawks added two runs in the both the sixth and seventh innings. The Eagles stranded a pair of runners in the sixth. The Eagles got one runner on base in the seventh, but McMurry ended the game with an infield double play. The Eagles outhit McMurry 10-9 in the game. Allyson Fultz and Kya Schmidt each had two hits.
