GAME ONE
Overview:
Alpine, Texas – The Eagles let a 3-2 lead slip away in the bottom of the seventh as Sul Ross State recorded the game-winning run with two outs to steal away a 4-3 win. The Eagles scored first in the game with a run in the second inning on a Aryonnah Briggs RBI. The Lobos answered in the bottom half of the inning, but the Eagles went ahead 2-1 in the top of the second after Mack Lucio scored on an error. The Lobos would again answer with a run in the bottom of the second to even the score 2-2. The Eagles eventually took the lead in the fifth when Lucio singled in a run.  The Lobos rallied in the seventh collecting four hits, including the game-winner on a double. Lucio and Kya Schmidt each had two hits.

GAME TWO
Overview:
Sul Ross scored four runs in the first inning and two more in the second to take a game two run-rule 11-0 win.  The Lobos would record just two hits in the first, but the Eagles committed an error to allow the run production. A pair of RBI singles in the second would give the Lobos a 6-0 lead. The Eagles struggled to generate any runs the rest of the way while the Lobos would plate five runs in the third. Hayley Rivett went 2-for-2 at the plate for the Eagles.
