GAME ONE
Overview:
Clarksville, Ark. – UT Dallas spoiled the Eagles home-opener with a come-from-behind 11-3 win in game one. The game was tied 3-3 after two innings of play, but the Comets exploded for seven runs on seven hits in the fourth. Mack Lucio highlighted the second inning with a two-run single. The Eagles appeared to make a rally in the bottom of the fifth loading the bases with no outs. But the Comets were able to stop the Eagles with an out at the plate and then recording back-to-back strikeouts. Lucio led the team with two RBI.

GAME TWO
Overview:
The Eagles avenged a game one loss posting a 7-3 win for a Friday afternoon split against the Comets. The Eagles scored twice in the second, the first on an RBI from Hayley Rivett and the second coming on a wild pitch. UT Dallas took a 3-2 lead in the top of the second, but the Eagles responded with four runs in the fourth. Jessye Rowland doubled in a pair of runs, and she was followed by a Rivett RBI single and an Allyson Fultz RBI single. Fultz would keep the Comets off the board with strong pitching in the final five innings. Fultz received the win after tossing a five-hit complete game. Fultz and Rowland had two hits, while Rivett drove in three runs.
