Clarksville, Ark. – Three members of the University of the Ozarks men's wrestling team were named to the 2023-2024 College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District Team, it was announced today by CSC.
CSC, formerly known as CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the classroom and on the mat.
The honorees included James Johnson, a senior physical education major from Washington, Mo.; Airamis Mendoza, a junior health science major from Union City, Calif.; and Hayden Rofkahr, a sophomore physical education major from Greenwood, Arkansas. All three were also named to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic Team following the 2023-24 season.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-America® program student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and be a significant contributor to the team (in the lineup for a minimum of 70 percent of matches which were team scoring events). The honorees must also be at least a sophomore academically.
