THE BASICS
The Eagles captured the 2025 U of O Invitational title Saturday on Senior Day. The race was especially memorable for star senior Chloe Weathers as it was her final home race. The Eagles won the race with 26 points. Newman University finished second with 36 points. The first runner to cross the line for the Eagles was Weathers, who placed second overall with a time of 18:43.20. Lilly Stubblefield placed fifth with a time of 20:15.60. Savannah Williams ran a 20:27.50 for seventh place. Macy Weathers was ninth with a time of 20:33.90. Bree Lybbert ran a 21:11.80 for twelfth place. Emma Golladay followed with a thirteenth place finish running a 21:30.20. Kjersta Lybbert posted a time of 22:27.90 for twenty-first place. Paige Banning ran a 23:14.40 for twenty-fourth place and Dakota Newcomb was twenty-fifth with a time of 24:20.30. The Eagles will compete in the Mississippi College Watson Classic on October 17.
