THE BASICS
The Eagles had their highest finish at a conference championship in over 25 years placing third at the 2025 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday in Prairie View, Texas. Six runners finished among the top-50 in the 6k race, with
Chloe Weathers leading the way with a tenth-place finish. Weathers posted a time of 23:16.16 and was named All-Conference for her performance. Weathers also received the Elite 19 award for her academic excellence.
Macy Weathers followed with a time of 25:25.66 for 28th place.
Savannah Williams was next for the Eagles running a 25:56.17 for 34th place.
Lilly Stubblefield ran a 25:58.88 for 35th place.
Bree Lybbert posted a time of 26:04.35 for 37th place.
Emma Golladay ran a 26:59.50 for 49th place.
Kjersta Lybbert was 55th overall running a 27:27.71 and
Paige Banning was 64th running a 28:25.90. The 1998 team competing in the American Southwest Conference Championships also finished fourth overall.
