Clarksville, Ark. - The men's swim and dive team placed third at the Hendrix College Mid-Season Invitational over the weekend in Conway.
In the 50 free, John Novinger placed 11th with a time of 25.73. Nathan Jennings placed second in the 1650 free swimming a 19:15.76. In the 200 free, Jennings placed fifth with a time of 2:00.53 and Jeremy Hamrick placed sixth with a time of 2:01.68. In the 100 fly, Novinger was tenth with a time of 1:05.53. In the 500 free, Jennings placed sixth with a time of 5:28.73 and Aleks Atieh was seventh with a time of 5:39.86. In the 100 breaststroke, Hamrick was ninth with a time of 1:13.34. In the 200 back, Jennings placed fourth with a time of 2:08.84 and Hamrick was sixth with a time of 2:22.92. In the 100 free, Novinger was fourth with a time of 55.55 and Atieh was fifth with a time of 55.95. In the 200 IM, Hamrick was 11th with a time of 2:20.06.
The Eagles will compete in the Hendrix College Sprint December 4 in Conway.
