Poteau, Okla. – The Eagles opened the 2025-2026 wrestling season with a 39-7 dual loss against Carl Albert College on Friday in Oklahoma.

The Eagles posted a pair of wins in the match with Javin Douglas (133) notching a fall (6:00) to give the Eagles six points. At 285, Phillip Saenz Jr. had a sudden victory against Will Restine for three points. 

The Eagles will compete in the Carl Albert Viking Open on November 8.
