Conway, Ark. – The men's tennis team opened the 2025 spring season against Hendrix College in Conway and took a 5-2 win on Saturday.
The Eagles won four singles matches. At the No. 3 position,
Joshua Wilde defeated Santiago Perez 7-6, 3-6, 6-1. At the No. 4 spot,
Perry Guidry defeated Maximiliam Henderson 6-1, 6-4. At the No. 5 spot,
Zachary Hanson defeated Cason Cole 6-2, 6-2.
Ryan Rosalin, playing the No. 6 spot, defeated Carlos Solis 3-6, 6-0, 11-9.
In doubles,
Kento Iwahara and Guidry teamed up for a 6-3 win at the No. 1 position.
Sergio Munoz and Hanson won at the No. 2 spot, 6-4.
The Eagles will take on Dallas Baptist next Saturday in Conway.
