Wichita, Kansas - The Eagles opened the 2025 spring track season by competing at the Indoor Wichita State Coach Wilson Invitational on Saturday in Wichita, Kansas. Two records fell at the meet.
Zackery Donlen broke both records – the 600-meter (1:37.79) and 1,000-meter (2:55.23). In the 1-mile, Donlen ran a 4:58.77 for 30th place.
Jace McAbee ran a 5:04.42 for 35th place and
Duban Figueroa ran a 5:57.02 for 45th place. In the 600-meter, Donlen
posted a time of 1:37.79 for 14th place. McAbee ran a 1:39.01 for 15th place. Figueroa had a time of 1:44.54 for 17th place and
Zachary Wilson ran a 1:50.63 for 18th place. In the 800-meter, Wilson ran a 2:34.23 for 26th place. In the 1,000-meter, Donlen had a time of 2:55.23 for third place and McAbee ran a 2:58.59 for fourth place.
