Wheaton, Ill. - The Eagles finished 17th at the Pete Willson-Wheaton Invitational over the weekend in Illinois.

The Eagles saw some of the NCAA Division III's most talented wrestlers and numerous teams at the Invitational were nationally ranked. Demetri Teddlie won three straight matches at 157 to advance to the semi-finals. There, Rhenzo Augusto from Elmhurst University, edged Teddlie for his first loss. Teddlie would up finishing in fourth place overall and post a 4-2 record.
At 125, Shelton Chastain went 2-2, with a decision and major decision. Zander Payne, at 141, went 2-2, with both wins coming on falls.
