Wichita, Kansas - The Eagles opened the 2025 spring track season by competing at the Indoor Wichita State Coach Wilson Invitational on Saturday in Wichita, Kansas. Six records fell at the meet.
Taliana Schmidt won the 600-meters and broke the school indoor record running a 1:45.05.
Ella Thompson ran a 1:58.04 for sixth place and
Kjersta Lybbert ran a 2:06.46 for eighth place. In the 60-meter hurdles,
Marion Phillippart ran a 12.24 for 20th place and set a new school record. In the 60-meters,
Angelina Lotz ran a 9.33 for 34th place. In the 1-mile,
Chloe Weathers ran a 5:25.35 for third place and set a new record.
Kjersta Lybbert ran a 6:28.34 for 45th place. In the 400-meters,
Marion Phillippart ran a 1:07.74 for 24th place. In the 800-meter,
Taliana Schmidt posted a time of 2:30.52 for sixth place and set a new record.
Chloe Weathers ran a 2:30.69 for seventh place. In the 200-meters,
Marion Phillippart ran a 31.01 for 26th place and set a new record. In the 1,000-meters,
Chloe Weathers ran a 3:22.43 for fifth place and set a new record.
Ella Thompson had a 3:45.52 for ninth place.
