Springfield, Mo. - The women's and men's clay target team opened the 2025-2026 season at the Drury University Panther Classic over the weekend in Springfield, Missouri.
The Eagles finished third overall with a score of 1503.
Daton Pinkston had the Classic's top score in skeet with 98. Pinkston paced the Eagles with an overall score of 314. That placed him among the top-6 at the event.
Tyler Treadway followed with a 311.
Ayden Pollock had a score of 308 to place third among the Eagle shooters. Joelle Peterson had the women's top score on the team with a 278. Kinley Cox followed with a 264.
The Eagles will now prepare for the Greater Midwest Super Shoot in Nebraska October 16-19.
