Clarksville, Ark. –Ouachita Baptist University took a 32-17 win in the Eagles home-opener on Wednesday night. 

Luke Adams (141) opened the match with a strong performance at 141. Adams took a major decision over Iziah Tusler to give the Eagles a 4-0 advantage.  Ouachita then took four straight matches to take the momentum throughout the evening. Nawab Singh won on a decision against Luke Brunson at 184. Shelton Chastain picked up a major decision against Justin Shaw at 125. Carter Taylor won in a forfeit at 133.

The Eagles will host Northern Oklahoma College – Tonkawa Saturday, January 17. The match is Senior Day for the Eagles, with the ceremony beginning at 9:00 a.m. and wrestling starting at 10:00 a.m.
