THE BASICS
Norman, Okla. - The Eagles opened the 2026 spring track season by competing at the Indoor University of Oklahoma Owen Hewitt Invitational on Friday in Norman, Oklahoma. In the men's one-mile, Daniel Sanderson set the new school indoor record running a 4:25.22. He placed fifth in the event. Peyton Jones set a new school record in the 3,000-meter indoor running a 8:52.66 for seventh place. Kaleab Haileselassie ran a 9:35.52 for tenth place.
