Wheaton, Ill. – The Eagles took to the mat in the highly competitive Pete Willson-Wheaton College Invitational on Friday night in Illinois.
Javin Douglas (133) posted three wins. He had a pair of falls, one against Alexander Ramirez from Milwaukee School of Engineering and another against Connor Kerwin from Wilkes University. Douglas also had a tech fall against Robert Stone from Rhode Island.
Shelton Chastain (125) had a pair of wins. He won by decision against Mason Taylor from Mount Union and won on a tech fall against Hobe Givens from Arcadia.
Jemarion Moore Kingsberry (174) won by tech fall over William Hittinger from Augustana College.
Ka'Ron Lewis (285) had a pair of wins by decision. Lewis defeated Nicholas Cook from Roanoke and Braydon Hoffman from Cornell College.
Jadaan Anderson (197) had a tech fall against Habeeb Raji from Nebraska Wesleyan.
Luke Adams (141) had a win by fall against Noah Henderson from Concordia University (WS).
Nawab Singh (184) posted a major decision against Kyle Sorensen from Concordia University (WS).
The Eagles will now prepare for the SLIAC Championships held February 14 in Eureka, Illinois.
