Topeka, Kansas - Chloe Weathers set a new program record in the 5000-meter running a 18:46.57 at the Washburn University Open Friday night in Topeka, Kansas. She finished sixth in her heat and 23rd overall. Weathers broke the previous school record of 19:23.48 set in 2018 by Hannah Smith. Weathers broke the 3,000-meter record on January 16.
