Pittsburg, Kansas - The Eagles set multiple indoor program records at the Pittsburg State University Invitational on Saturday in Kansas.
Peyton Jones set the new indoor one-mile mark running a 4:23.91. He finished 24th overall.
Matthew Dunsworth set a new 5000-meter record running a 15:37.93. He placed 22nd overall.
Kaleab Haileselassie ran a 15:49.91 to place 29th.
Omarion Shaw ran a 16:10.73 to place 33rd. In the 800-meter,
Daniel Sanderson ran a 2:00.05 for 38th place. A new Distance Medley Relay record was set by
Peyton Jones,
Troy Putman,
Daniel Sanderson and
Matthew Dunsworth running a time of 10:33.93 for eighth place.
