Garland, Texas – The women's swim and dive team competed in day three of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships Friday.
Chloe Weathers set the new program record in the 100 back swimming a 1:02.94. She was tenth in the race. The Eagles 200 free relay team finished third and set a new program record with a time of 1:44.07, which consisted of
Jessie Wright,
Samantha Naramore,
Chloe Weathers and
Macy Weathers.
The Eagles remain in third place with 303 points after three full days.
In the 100 fly,
Macy Weathers swam a 1:05.48 for 11th place.
Sara Niemann swam a 1:20.59 for 13th place.
Jessie Wright placed third in the 400 IM swimming a 4:56.12.
Cecily Sanchez swam a 5:22.99 for ninth place,
Journey Blackwell swam a 5:57.00 for 11th place and
Isabel Shelton swam a 6:11.63 for 13th place. In the 200 free,
McKinley Mize swam a 2:14.72 for 16th place. In the 100 breaststroke,
Macy Weathers placed seven with a time of 1:14.10.
Samantha Naramore was ninth with a time of 1:14.04.
Riley Holcomb was 12
th with a time of 1:18.13 and
Aubrey Cantrell was 16
th with a time of 1:30.99.
In the 1-meter diving competition,
Brianna Devlin placed second with a score of 412.65.
Angelina Lotz was fourth with a time of 269.25.
The final day of the Championships is Saturday beginning at 10:30 a.m.
