Clarksville, Ark. - The Eagles powered past the Hendrix Warriors softball 7–0 Saturday behind dominant pitching and timely extra-base hitting in game one and then clung to a 10-9 win in game two for a double-header sweep to open conference play.
Game One
Ozarks struck immediately in the first inning when
Isabella Hulsey launched a two-run homer to center, giving the Eagles an early lead. The momentum continued in the second as
Kamryn Uher added a two-run blast to left, extending the advantage to 4–0.
The Eagles padded the margin in the fourth with RBI doubles from
Emma Reynolds and
Brilea Rofkahr, before Uher delivered again in the fifth with an RBI double to cap the scoring at 7–0.

The Eagles held off a late rally for a 10–9 victory in game two. Hendrix jumped ahead early with two first-inning runs, but Ozarks answered in the second behind a solo homer from
Sage Adams and an RBI single from
Brilea Rofkahr to even the score. After Hendrix reclaimed the lead in the third, the Eagles began to build momentum. Ozarks trimmed the deficit in the third on an RBI double by
Lori-Ann Hughes before a decisive five-run fourth inning flipped the game.
Isabella Hulsey delivered the biggest swing with a three-run homer, while RBI hit-by-pitches to Adams and
Kamryn Uher extended the lead to 8–4. The Eagles added two more in the fifth when
Dez Soto lined a two-run single to push the margin to 10–5. Hendrix refused to go quietly, scoring four runs in the seventh and bringing the tying run to the plate, but
Mabry Van Es entered and closed the door to secure the save.
