THE BASICS
Conway, Arkansas - The Eagles set three new outdoor track records at the Hendrix College Open on Saturday in Conway. Americus Olivier Louis set the 400-meter record running a 50.42. He finished fourth overall. Peyton Jones set two new records. Jones ran a 1:56.42 in 800-meter for second place and a 15:25.66 in the 5000-meter for third place.
In the 5000-meter, Daniel Sanderson ran a 15:27.97 for fourth place, Kaleab Haileselassie ran a 15:56.94 for sixth place, Jase McAbee ran a 16:26.52 for twelfth place and Zachary Wilson ran a 19:43.32 for twenty-second place. In the 800-meter, Troy Putman ran a 2:04.67 for thirteenth place and Jerry Draper ran a 2:04.77 for fourteenth place.
