THE BASICS
Arkadelphia, Arkansas - The Eagles competed at the Ouachita Baptist University Invitational on Saturday in Arkadelphia and broke one record at the competition.
Americus Olivier Louis set the new school record in the 400-meter running a 50.29 for fifth place. In the 3,000-meter, Daniel Sanderson placed fourth with a time of 9:57.84. Sanderson also ran in the 5,000-meter and was fourth with a time of 15:31.73. Kaleab Haileselassie ran a 15:42.71 for ninth place and Jase McAbee ran a 16:19.71 for fifteenth place. In the 800-meter, Troy Putman ran a 2:00.29 for thirteenth place and Jerry Draper posted a time of 2:03.55 for twentieth place. In the 1500-meter, Zachary Wilson ran a 5:02.00 for thirty-seventh place.
