LeTourneau Women's Tennis Teams Earns Win

Clarksville, Ark. - The University of the Ozarks women's tennis team fell to LeTourneau University 7-0 in a conference matchup on Thursday afternoon.

LeTourneau took control early by sweeping all three doubles matches to claim the opening point. Ozarks' top pairing of Brooke Humphrey and Kelsey Smith faced a tough challenge at No. 1 doubles, falling 6-1.

In singles play, LeTourneau continued its strong performance, winning all six matches in straight sets. Kelsey Smith competed at No. 1 singles and picked up three games in the opening set before falling 6-3, 6-0. Brooke Humphrey battled at No. 2 singles, but LeTourneau maintained control throughout for a 6-3, 6-1 win.

Madison Hamilton (No. 3) and Emerson Corbin (No. 5) each faced tough opposition, with both matches ending in 6-0, 6-0 decisions. Jayden Vazquez (No. 4) and Yamileth Lopez (No. 6) each managed to win games in their matches but were unable to slow LeTourneau's momentum.

The Eagles will host St. Thomas Friday in a conference match at 2:00 p.m.
