Clarksville, Ark. – University of the Ozarks tennis players Perry Guidry and Kento Iwahara have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Doubles Team of the Week for the second time this season, the league office announced on Monday.  
     
Iwahara, a senior from Fukuoka, Japan, and Guidry, a senior from Lafayette, La., posted a 3-0 No. 1 doubles record last week, including a big 7-6 win against the nationally-ranked duo from UA-Fort Smith. Iwahara and Guidry opened the week Wednesday by upsetting Eduardo Bribiesca and Birk Arwedahl, who are ranked among the NCAA II's top-50 in the ITA. Iwahara and Guidry defeated Andrew Reiman and Fernando Vazquez 6-3 to push the Eagles to a win against LeTourneau. The following day, Iwahara and Guidry capped the week with a 6-3 win against Wilson Salazar and Sawyer White from St. Thomas.

The Eagles will travel to Colorado for matches against Colorado-Mesa and Colorado College March 27.
