THE BASICS
Tulsa, Okla. - The Eagles competed at the Oral Roberts University Invitational on Saturday in Tulsa and broke one school record. The Eagles had six runners in the 3,000-meter with Daniel Sanderson leading the team running a 8:59.26 for sixth place. Sanderson's time is a new school record. Peyton Jones followed with a time of 9:08.64 for tenth place. Kaleab Haileselassie ran a 9:09.55 for twelfth place. Omarion Shaw ran a 9:21.25 for seventeenth place. Jase McAbee was nineteenth running a 9:28.42 and Ruben Parra was twenty-first running a 9:40.50. Americus Olivier Louis ran in the 400-meter and placed eleventh (50.52). Louis also ran in the 200-meter and placed tenth (22.76). In the 800-meter, Troy Putman was ninth running a 1:59.74 and Jerry Draper was fourteenth running a 2:02.98. In the 1500-meter, Peyton Jones was the team's top finisher running a 4:05.61 for ninth place. Daniel Sanderson was tenth running a 4:06.05. Jase McAbee posted a time of 4:18.37 for twentieth place. Kaleab Haileselassie was twenty-first running a 4:25.25 and Zachary Wilson was twenty-fourth running a 5:05.24.
