THE BASICS
Searcy, Arkansas - The Eagles set two new outdoor track records at the Harding University Invitational on Friday in Searcy. Peyton Jones set the 1500-meter record running a 4:00.05. He finished second overall. Kaleab Haileselassie set the 3000-meter record running a 9:09.98. He placed seventh overall. 

In the 800-meter, Americus Olivier Louis had a time of 2:01.20 for third place. Troy Putman posted a time of 2:05.64 for seventh and Jerry Draper ran a 2:08.64 for eighth place. In the 3000-meter, Jase McAbee ran a 9:26.05 for twelfth place and Zachary Wilson ran a 10:58.29 for nineteenth place. In the 1500-meter, Daniel Sanderson finished eighteenth with a time of 4:18.74 and Troy Putman ran a 4:32.12 for twenty-ninth place.
