Clarksville, Ark. - The women's tennis team dropped both conference home matches on Friday to end the 2026 spring season.
Texas Lutheran took control early and never let up, defeating the Eagles 4-1 in the first match of the day.
TLU swept all three doubles matches to claim the opening point and set the tone. Wins at No. 1 (6-2), No. 2 (6-1), and No. 3 (6-2) gave the Bulldogs a quick 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
In singles, Texas Lutheran won the top and middle of the lineup. Lucero Alvarado earned a 6-1, 6-2 win over Kelsey Smith at No. 1, while Isabella Barber (No. 3) and Isabella Hill (No. 4) added straight-set victories to push TLU to the brink of clinching.
Ozarks got its lone point from Brooke Humphrey, who delivered a strong 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 2. However, it wasn't enough to swing the momentum.
Concordia University Texas delivered a strong performance sweeping the Eagles 7-0.
CTX controlled the match from the outset, sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the opening point.
Singles play followed with Concordia winning three of the matches 6-0, 6-0.
