Bailee Cowell Tosses Complete Game Shutout

Clarksville, Ark. – The Eagles delivered a complete performance on both sides of the ball, shutting out Dallas 6-0 behind a dominant pitching outing from Bailee Cowell.

The Eagles continue to fight for a post-season spot and will end the regular season hosting Centenary College April 24-25.

The Eagles jumped on Dallas immediately in the first inning. Emma Reynolds got things started with an RBI single, then came around to score on a catcher's error. Isabella Hulsey followed with an RBI single to cap a three-run opening frame and give Ozarks early control.

After a quiet stretch in the middle innings, the Eagles struck again in the sixth. Hulsey picked up her second RBI of the game with another single, and aggressive base running plus defensive miscues helped plate two more runs, including a sacrifice bunt RBI from Grace Price to extend the lead to 6-0.

In the circle, Bailee Cowell was in full command. She tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing just four hits while walking one and striking out four. Dallas never advanced a runner home despite a few scattered hits.

Key Performers:
Emma Reynolds (2-for-4, 2 R, RBI), Isabella Hulsey (2-for-4, 2 RBI), Bailee Cowell (7 IP, 0 ER, CG)
