Abilene, Texas - The men's track team competed in the final day of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Sunday in Abilene, Texas and a pair of runners finished among the top-6 in their respective races. In the finals of the 800-meters, Peyton Jones placed sixth with a time of 1:59.99. In the 1500-meters, Peyton Jones ran a 4:03.26 to place fourth. Jase McAbee posted a time of 4:21.02 for nineteenth place. Jerry Draper ran a 4:21.42 for twentieth place, Troy Putman ran a 4:33.28 for twenty-sixth place and Zachary Wilson ran a 4:57.98 for thirty-third place. In the 5000-meters, Daniel Sanderson posted a time of 15:59.57 for ninth place. Kaleab Haileselassie ran a 16:04.47 for tenth place and Jase McAbee ran a 16:24.07 for fifteenth place. The 4x400 relay team of Americus Olivier Louis, Jerry Draper, Troy Putman, Daniel Sanderson had a time of 3:36.14 for tenth place.
