A trio of seniors earned All-Conference honors in tennis.

Men's Tennis Trio Earns All-Conference

Clarksville, Ark. - Three University of the Ozarks men's tennis players were named to the All-Conference Team, it was announced by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference recently.

Seniors Kento Iwahara, Sergio Munoz and Joseph Guidry received honors after completing outstanding seasons for the Eagles.

Iwahara made the First Team in singles, Munoz made the Second Team in singles and Guidry and Iwahara made First Team in doubles.
     
Iwahara, from Fukuoka, Japan, went 6-1 at the No. 1 singles position and finished the spring season 8-5. He had six wins in conference play. He finishes his career with 26 singles wins, fifth most in program history. He is a three-time All-Conference player.

Munoz, from Madrid, Spain, posted a 11-5 overall record, including a 10-4 mark at the No. 3 spot. He went 8-1 in conference play. Munoz finishes his career with 33 singles wins, third-most in program history. He is a three-time All-Conference player.

Guidry, from Lafayette, La., and Iwahara compiled an impressive 15-5 record playing No. 1 doubles. The duo had a 7-2 conference record and won SCAC Doubles Team of the Week three times during the season. Guidry posted 37 career doubles wins, third-most in program history. Iwahara followed with 33 doubles wins, sixth most in program history.

The trio helped the Eagles qualify for the playoffs in 2026 where they advanced to the semi-finals of the SCAC Championship Tournament.
