Bailee Cowell Caps Season With All-Region Honors

Clarksville, Ark. – University of the Ozarks junior pitcher Bailee Cowell has been named to the NFCA All-Region Third Team, the organization announced today.
 
Cowell, a native of Lamar, was named to the All-Conference Second Team earlier in the month. Cowell just came off one the most dominant pitching performances in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament history pitching all six games for the Eagles while willing the team to the championship game. Cowell ended the 2026 season breaking nearly every single season record in program history, including innings pitched (195.1), wins (19), and ERA (2.11). Following the post-season, she ranked second in the SCAC in strikeouts (101) and wins. The right-hander also finished with two saves while notching five shutouts. 

She was named SCAC Pitcher of the Week once during the season. She was named to the All-Tournament Team following her performance at the SCAC Championships.
 
The Eagles posted the most wins in school history (25) and advanced to the SCAC Championship game behind head coach David Kuhn, who just finished his first season at Ozarks.
