Springfield, Mo. – The women's and men's clay target team placed third at the Drury University Panther Shoot over the weekend in Missouri.
Headlining the competition was freshman
Avery Dumas, who was the women's HOA. Dumas finished with a score of 310. Dumas shot a 79 in sporting, 98 in skeet, 46 in trap, 43 in five-stand and 44 in wobble.
As a team, the Eagles finished behind Lindenwood (1635) and Drury (1601).
Joelle Peterson placed second among the women's team with a 292. Other scores included

On the men's side, Ayden Pollock was the team's top finisher with a score of 315. Daton Pinkston followed with a score of 311. Tyler Chandler had a 303, Riley Walerak scored a 299, Kolton McCutcheon scored a 295, James McGill scored a 286, Caleb Richardson scored a 285, Alex Beck scored a 278, Aiden Lewallen scored a 277, Sam Rockwell scored a 270, Eric Johnson scored a 269, Landon Keck scored a 253, Nash Griggs scored a 216 and Eli Efling scored a 171.
The Eagles will now prepare for the ACUI Midwest Championships October 9-11 in Sparta, Illinois.
