Biography

2019: Played the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles position. Posted a 6-7 record in singles. Went 6-7 in No. 2 doubles and 6-9 overall in doubles play. Won four of his first five matches to open the 2018-2019 season. Had three singles wins against John Brown University. Won both of his singles and doubles matches against Hendrix College. Teamed with Jonah Martinez for a 9-7 doubles win over East Texas Baptist. Named ASC Player of the Week after posting a win at No. 1 singles and a win at No. 1 doubles for the Eagles against Mary Hardin-Baylor. Member of the ASC All-Academic Team. Received the ITA Scholar-Athlete award.

2018: Made the All-Conference Team in singles and doubles in flight one and earned a spot on the All-East Division First Team in singles (flight one). Also named the ASC Newcomer of the Year. In doubles, made the All-East Division First Team. Posted a team-best 10-6 record at No. 1 singles and went 4-1 against league opponents, the third-most wins in the league. His 10 wins are the fifth-most in program history for a season and he tied for third-most among No. 1 singles players in the conference. Went a perfect 5-0 in doubles in the conference, including a 8-6 win over ranked UT-Tyler, to end the season with a 7-3 record. Tied for the third-most doubles wins (12) in a single season at Ozarks. Named ASC Player of the Week twice during the season. Received the ITA Scholar-Athlete award.
