THE BASICS
Austin, Texas – The Eagles let a 39-37 halftime lead slip away as Concordia University Texas came back to steal a 86-71 win Saturday. The Eagles shot a solid 53 percent from the field in the first half to own a lead at the break. But Concordia came back to hit 53 percent of its shots in the second half to eventually take a lead it wouldn't relinquish. The Tornados helped the cause by making 16-of-18 from the free throw line in the final 20 minutes of play. All five starters for the Eagles reached double figures in scoring with Josh Ukpe leading the way with 18.

TURNING POINT
Concordia scored 49 points in the second half behind shooting 53 percent from the field.
