Brock Bernard scored twice on Senior Day and the Eagles shut out McMurry University 4-0 on Friday night in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action. The Eagles celebrated Senior Day with a dominating performance. The Eagles scored three times in the first half to hold an impressive 3-0 halftime advantage. Bernard scored in the fifth minute on a penalty kick.
Juan De La Rosa then scored in the 19th minute and
Giovanni Casias had the final goal of the first half in the 27th minute. The Eagles completed the first half with six shots. Bernard would connect on his second goal in the 84
th minute. In the end, the Eagles outshot McMurry 10-5. Abdoulalli Ibrahim Jirani posted the shutout in goal and collected three saves.
