HOW IT HAPPENED
Houston, Texas  – University of St. Thomas turned a 2-1 halftime lead into a 6-1 win on Monday afternoon in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action. The Celts scored in the 26th minute to gain an early lead, but the Eagles answered with a goal in the 30th minute on Giovanni Casias' score. The Celts would break the 1-1 match with a goal in the 38th minute. The second half was all St. Thomas as the Celts scored back-to-back goals within a two-minute span. From there, the Celts added a goal in the 69th minute and then again in the 81st minute. St. Thomas took 22 shots on the day.
