Game One Overview
Clarksville, Ark.- The Eagles pounded out 15 hits while starting pitcher
Will Utchman mowed down ten batters in five innings of work to give the home team a 11-3 win in game one. The Eagles got a run in each of the first two innings and then tacked on five more in the third.
Langdon Townsend highlighted the third with a two-run homer. In the fourth, the Eagles added three runs on RBI from three different players to make it 10-2. Meanwhile, Utchman was lights out fanning ten, with four of those K's coming in the first two frames. Utchman worked himself out of jam in the top of the fifth after Principia had two runners in scoring position. The right-hander struck out the final three batters he faced to end the threat. Utchman would receive the win allowing just three hits and issuing no walks. Seven different players had multiple-hit games.
Jake Dempsey homered in the sixth and led the team with three RBI.

Game Two Overview
Nicholas Bennett homered twice and drove in five runs to lead the Eagles to a 12-4 in game two. Principia scored first in the contest, but the lead wouldn't last long as the Eagles exploded for eight runs on four hits in the second. Bennett hit his first of two home runs in the second driving in three runs.
Ethan Cash drove in three more runs with a base-clearing double. In the fifth, Bennett blasted his second homer, this time a solo shot.
Isaac Price added a two-run single and at the end of five, the Eagles led 11-3. Starting pitcher
Seth Goodrich fanned six in four innings of work.
Jacob Squires received the win after tossing one inning in relief.
