Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles traveled to Edwardsville, Illinois, over the weekend and played four games posting a 1-3 record.
Grinnell College edged the Eagles 6-5 in 11 innings on Saturday. Grinnell would get a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the 11th to win the game. The Eagles opened the game with three runs in the first inning.

Morgan Haupt had RBI in the frame. Grinnell responded with four runs in the fifth. A
Rayli Ruby RBI single in the sixth tied the game. After a scoreless seventh and eighth inning, the Eagles plated a run in the ninth on a
Hayley Rivett RBI single. Grinnell responded again scoring a run in the bottom half of the ninth to keep the marathon going. Starting pitcher
Morgan Haupt struck out 12 batters over 10.1 innings.
The Eagles would capture the second game 9-8 against Monmouth College in dramatic fashion. After Monmouth tied the score 8-8 in the top of the seventh,
Mack Lucio reached base on an error.
Saige Mahar would later reach base on a fielder's choice. Rivett then ripped a single to push across Mahar for the game-winning run. With the Eagles leading 2-1, Monmouth scored four runs in the third to take a 5-2 lead. Not to be outdone, the Eagles rallied for five runs in the fourth to take a 7-5 advantage. Jessye Rowland and
Makinzie Erwin all had RBI. Rivett drove in another run in the fifth in addition to her game-winning hit in the bottom of the seventh. Rivett finished 3-for-5 with three RBI. Lucio also went 3-for-5. Tencleve received the win tossing the final inning.
On Sunday, University of Chicago shutout the Eagles 5-0 and Webster University posted a 8-3 win. Chicago controlled the Eagles' bats limiting them to two hits. Against Webster, the Eagles trailed 8-1 after five complete innings.
Skylar Ward had a two-run double in the sixth to make it 8-3.
