Goodrich allowed just one run and struck out two to receive the win. Lemke notched the save with an outstanding performance out of the pen. The Eagles' offense backed the pitching duo with a pair of runs in the first and two more in the eighth. In the first frame, Isaac Price doubled in Cole Clark and Ethan Cash singled in Price. Lemke closed the door in the eighth by retiring the side. In the ninth, the Comets got one runner on base as a result of an error, but Lemke worked his way out of the jam with a groundout, strikeout and another groundout. Munoz and Bennett each had two hits.
