GAME ONE
Overview:
Brownwood, Texas – Howard Payne University owned a 5-1 lead after four innings and then kept the Eagles scoreless the rest of the way for a 5-1 game one win Friday afternoon. Howard Payne scored in the first inning, but the Eagles tied the game 1-1 on Skylar Ward's RBI single in the top of the second. The Jackets answered with a run in the bottom half of the inning and never let go of the lead again. The Eagles had four hits, all coming from different players in the lineup.

GAME TWO
Overview:
Howard Payne University posted a 6-3 win in game two after trailing early. The Eagles scored three times in the second frame on Kya Schmidt's two-run double and an RBI single from Gracie Jones. However, Howard Payne responded with five runs in the third that proved to be the rest of the scoring. Jones and Hayley Rivett each had two hits for the Eagles.
