GAME ONE
Overview:
Clarksville, Ark. – Lyon College scored three runs in the first inning and kept the Eagles from scoring until the sixth inning as the Scots took a 5-1 win in game one Wednesday. Lyon plated three runs on three hits in the first and then added two runs in the fourth to hold a 5-0 advantage. The Eagles got one run in the sixth after Jake Dempsey led off the bottom half of the inning with a double. Isaac Price later recorded a sacrifice fly to drive in Dempsey. But that would be all the Eagles' offense could generate. Cole Clark and Jeter Fulbright each had two hits.

GAME TWO
Overview:
Lyon College roared back in the sixth inning to take game two 8-5. The Eagles let a 5-0 lead slip away as the Scots exploded for seven runs on six hits. The Eagles plated four runs in the second highlighted by a two-run double from Dempsey. Conner Reed had an RBI and Nicholas Bennett drew a bases loaded walk to plate another run. Lyon scored once in the fourth to make it 5-1, but it was the seventh inning that changed the game and the Eagles couldn't slow the Scots momentum. The Eagles pitching staff didn't allow a hit until the sixth. Reed and Bennett each had two hits. Bennett hit a solo home run in the fourth.
