HOW IT HAPPENED
Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles christened the new Thomas and Frances Wilson Soccer Field with a big 5-1 win over Ecclesia College under the lights Friday. The historic win was the first official match at the beautiful new facility.  The Eagles displayed impressive depth and speed throughout the match and led 2-1 at the half. Lyatonga Filos scored first, which came unassisted in the 16^th minute. Ecclesia would even the match 1-1 in the 29^thminute, but the Eagles quickly answered with a goal from Vincente Urdaneta Navarro one minute later on a penalty kick. Colin Cosby scored just seconds into the second half to make it 3-1. The Eagles kept the momentum and scored in the 60^th minute on Brock Bernard's goal. The final goal came from Chris Rodriguez in the 80^th minute. The Eagles took 36 shots in the match.
