THE BASICS
Clarksville, Ark. – University of Dallas slipped past the Eagles 72-66 on Monday afternoon in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play. The Eagles held a narrow 33-31 halftime lead and then the two teams exchanged leads early in the second half. The Eagles established a seven-point advantage at the 13:26 mark of the second half, but Dallas fought back to eventually gain a 68-61 lead with just 2:19 remaining. From there, the Eagles ran out of time as the Crusaders pulled out a hard fought contest behind a solid shooting night from the field (54%). Cedrick Dodd paced the Eagles with 19 points.
